Jero Shakpoke (born on 5 December 1979 in Warri[2]) is a Nigerian footballer (defender) who is currently playing for Union Saint-Gilloise, on loan to Siena.
The Tuscan Serie A side acquired him on August 2009 from Rovigo Calcio on a two-year permanent deal.[3][4] According to an interview released by Shakpoke himself, he will successively leave Siena to join an unnamed Belgian team within days;[5] the team was later unveiled to be R. Union Saint-Gilloise,[6] headed by Italian Roberto Landi, on a season loan move.[7][8]
